Recorded as being the oldest village in the state of Michigan, Romeo experienced significant growth during the years immediately following the Civil War through the turn-of-the-century. Many of the residential and commercial buildings in the village from that era remain and are in use today. The 3rd Annual Romeo Victorian Festival is a great way for all to enjoy a day of fun and history as we celebrate the unique heritage of Romeo.
